Started in early 2007, the 1440 Studio is located near historic Eastern Market in Detroit, MI. The 1440 Collective is a group of individuals that have come together to empower Detroit's performing arts community through cooperation and mutual goal setting. The members also take part in bringing the surrounding Detroit community together for area clean-up projects and cooperative business plans.

The 1440 Studio is a full service media and arts center whose multi-purpose space and creative incubator is utilized as a recording facility, photo/video studio, rehearsal space, and event/private performance venue. The studio also houses a comprehensive media department that produces music videos, promotional pieces, and streaming content for musicians and businesses alike.
