I am the guy who does the booking, promoting and manging for the band "The UnderLying Ruin".
I have 5 children (3 girls and 2 boys) and two grandchildren.
Yes, I started young.
I live in Cow Country up in the Thumb of Michigan.
I love to support all types of music here on Detroit City. Except for those musicians who set up accounts all over the great US of A in hopes of false ratings.
My son Tim plays guitar for The UnderLying Ruin.
I got really involved with the band back in January of 2007 when they played at I-Rock in Detroit. After that I have been their chauffeur with my Suburban driving them and the equipment around the Michigan and once to Wisconsin.
Now you know a little about Harold.

| INTERESTS: | My only real interest is to be Happy.
Whatever life throws at me, I try to do the best I can.
I learned at an early age, "What Goes Around Comes Around"
I will try to help anyone I can, as long as I can help.

| I'D LIKE TO MEET: | I would really like to meet more of the DC gang.
It's just really tough for me. I get up for work way too early and I go to bed when everyone else's night life starts.
I have gotten to meet a few great people like Kevin Pruett, Panama Doug, Scott the Sieve and Destinys Child.

| MUSIC: | I am probably to most well rounded music listener you'll ever meet.
I love all types of music. Jazz, Folk, Old Country, Oldies, Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, Classical and even a little Rap.
My favorite here on Detroit City is the Wonderful Trish Wales.
This lovely lady has a Fantastic voice. She'll be going places I could never envision.

| TELEVISION: | I can do without regular television.
Just give me my VCR and my DVD player to watch my old movies.
There are way to many stupid sitcoms.
I do like to watch Hockey and thats about it.
Lately I have gotten into watching NASCAR though.

| INFLUENCES: | I have really only had one real influence in my life, my father, god rest his soul.
I learned from watching all my dads years of struggle trying to raise seven children.
I have now done the same trying to raise 5 children.
The one thing my Father taught me was, "You get out of life what you put into it".
At the age of 12 I was working to help my parents out while my Father was without a job. This is where I learned to help those in need. It hasn't made me any better off financially, but I sleep better at night knowing I help where and when I can.

| BOOKS: | I am a fan of the cop style ( Tom Clancy) books.
Also the Who done It books.
I read a couple books a month.

| ONLINE FOR: | Making new friends and talking to old ones.
All of you here on DC have been Great. Especially Miss Kimberlita, Trish, Derek, Panama Doug, Dave and Kevin Pruett.
I think the three who have touched me most are Kevin Pruett, Kim and Trish. You three make me feel like getting out of bed each morning is worth it. Thank you!
