About DISOWN
With a new album in the works and winter lurking right around the corner, DISOWN shows will become a little scarce for a while.
We are what we do in life.
Actions will always speak louder than hollow words.
DISOWN struggles to bring back what music should trully be--Art and Creation thru Thought and Emotion dealing with philosophical and meaningful lyrics while at the same time, remaining down-to-earth.
Their goal is to make a difference in the world and also within your life. Nothing more. Nothing less. It is their belief that one person, or even one idea, can make a difference in this place.

Cleveland, Ohio rockers DISOWN bring forth industrial rock like no other band quite can.
With hard hitting guitar riffs and stabbing electronic synths much like that of Nine Inch Nails or Linkin Park, DISOWN takes it one step further by throwing into the mix an arrangement of melodic, emotional and thought-provoking vocals and lyrics similar to A Perfect Circle or Tool.
Formed in 2000, DISOWN has shared the stage with HIM, Atreyu, Lacuna Coil, Static-X, Orgy, Godhead, Crossbreed, Mushroomhead, Trust Co., KMFDM and Apex Theory.
In 2004, DISOWN secured a spot on the OzzFest 2004 tour performing in front of more than 30,000 people, their biggest show to date.
In 2005, the band secured business with Cleopatra Records and had their single, "Policy of Truth" placed on a tribute to Depech Mode. The album is currently being distributed nationally and internationally to every major CD chain store (BestBuy, Sam Goody, Hot Topic, etc.).
In early 2006, DISOWN was named Top 20 best artist on Myspace and selected for a chance to place a track on Vivendi/Universal's upcoming PC game, Scarface.
Currently, DISOWN just received sponsorship by SamAsh and endorsements from Halo Guitars. As well, they are securing a national management team for dealings with major labels.

| About me:Sometimes I think that I'm so complicated that its simple. Or maybe I'm so simple that its complicated? I'm a loner by nature. I prefer solitude over company. It helps to keep my thoughts clear and my head sane. There is alot that goes on up in there. Several battles that I am constantly at odds with at any given moment. Isn't the mind beautiful? Someone great once told me that Artists and Singers are some of the most tormented souls on earth...because they see and feel the things that most people tend to take for granted or go unnoticed in life. So true. The weight of the world hangs over me. And the only way to rid myself of it is to sing.
You all Created me! |
