BIO:
I travel around without a car; taking the bus , walking, bicycling. I'm a freelance photographer trying to make it in Detroit. I have more skills than photographer... I have 25 years of computing experience and a couple degrees. I am a creative and intelligent person. I'm loyal to friends, however my attention flits this way and that as is the nature of being an event photographer.

I'm an honest and true person. I am definitely not a player of people, and can't stand seeing that happen.

Fierce believer that Detroit is redeveloping into an entertainment capitol. Biggest problem I see is the suburban attitude which tries to disown the city core - downtown Detroit. I have a passion for the true creatives of Detroit. They are the soul of this city and we export them away for that label of "success". This city has to be one of the largest exporters of creative talent in the world.

Want to do something constructive? Support the local artists - buy clothing from independent stores and designers, hire people rather than make them work for free. Get to know Detroit beyond the neighborhoods you frequently visit.

INTERESTS:Photography, style, fashion, being unique, self-defined, confidence, one love, unity, commUNITY, revolutionary ideas, daring, bold, different, out of the box, couture, elegant, trashy, punk, sexy, brazen, feminine, masculine, non-gender, be YOURSELF, anti-label, uni-label, PEOPLE, divine spirit in all.

I have photography portfolios on the following sites. If you are a member of them I'd appreciate a contact message at them.

I'D LIKE TO MEET:You - because you are part of what is going on. Even as much as you may deny that, your presence at any event makes a difference. More thoughts, eyes, ears, noses, mouths - to ponder, see, hear, smell, and taste the experience of living. Claim your right to be known and celebrated.

I am the organizer of the Abandoned In Detroit fashion showcase project, which was started September 2005. Nearly 100 people have been involved with the project to date and our community continues to grow. Click the banner below to visit the project profile on Myspace and subscribe to the blog there for the latest news.

MUSIC:I love beats, rhythm, harmony, and more. I love messages that lift up the human spirit and consciousness. I recognize everyone has freedom to hear what they like most. But it is sad when the message is full of hate, anger, and frustration. When you make music - listen and find your place.

I do have a Burnlounge store and it has been running since May 2006. If you'd like a free store to sell music you love click through my store and find out more.

MOVIES:The number of indie films produced here is astounding. We have major films scheduling visits to Detroit because this city is a ready-made set that would cost millions to create. I celebrate the spirit of our local film makers, their cast and crew. Doing something about their dreams and vision - sharing with the world. Are you seeing and hearing them??

TELEVISION:Programs of worth can be found but the publicity around mindless programs is hard to cut through.

ONLINE FOR:Community building, publicity, discovering work opportunities, and simply sharing ambitions, dreams, reality. I provide talent for fashion shows, performance events, and coverage of them through photos and video.

You know what! I agree. Style expresses so much, and I respect people's styles even if I may not wear it myself. Plus dressing like your from Mars is fun :)
