Most artists have some cool story behind their band name. My story is simply this; I said one balmy day, "Hey mom, I need a cool band name...something with the name jones in it." She replied "How about Powder Milk Jones?" and I said "Fantastic." Ever since, I roll under the name of PMJ. I am originally from Grand Rapids, MI. I came here because Rochester College gave me scholarships. After a couple of years at RC I went to Oakland Univeristy, because I wanted to take some upper level science classes. I graduated with a B.S. in Medical Laboratory Science and a B.A. in Biology. I tried interning at the Detroit Medical Center then realized I could do more with my life...Now I make vaccines for a large biotech company and play music to soothe the soul.
